The Future Innovators project is designed to inspire mentors, teachers and young learners, enabling them to confidently participate and succeed in the Future Innovators category of World Robot Olympiad (WRO). Our goal is to provide comprehensive resources and support that empower young innovators worldwide to develop creative robotic solutions addressing real-world from the daily life of our participants

Our learning resources are tailored to support diverse participants in the WRO Future Innovators program:

• For Students and Coaches & Teachers:
  • Guidance on robotics sets and project development.
  • Beginner to expert-level courses, including certifications.
• For National Organizers:
  • Resources and guidelines to successfully host Future Innovators events.
• For Judges:
  • Clear criteria and training materials for consistent and effective judging.

These multilingual resources ensure everyone has the necessary information to excel.

All educational and support materials developed by WRO are freely available to our entire network of over 100 countries. We proactively assist National Organizers by providing tailored guidance, localized adaptations of materials, and ongoing support to ensure successful implementation of the Future Innovators program worldwide.

All courses for students and coaches are freely available for everyone at the WRO LEARN platform.

To facilitate engaging and accessible robotics education, we have developed two specialized robotics kits in collaboration with our partners ELECFREAKS and MATRIX. Both sets ensure a smooth transition from classroom learning to competitive participation in the Future Innovators category.

ELECFREAKS Future Innovators Set (using the Micro:bit controller)

• Ideal for beginners with an intuitive interface supporting graphical coding and Python.
• Offers versatile hardware extensions and compatibility with LEGO® construction parts.
• Includes sensors such as ultrasonic, infrared, touch, humidity sensors, and components like OLED displays, motors, and more for easy project assembly and reusability.

MATRIX Future Innovators Set (using the Arduino controller)
Designed for advanced explorations, the MATRIX Mini R4 is powered by the Arduino UNO R4 WiFi, enabling the creation of a wide range of innovative projects:

• Provides extensive capabilities, including multiple sensors (e.g., gesture, color, grayscale, laser sensors), motors, and advanced components like the M-Vision Cam (limited availability).
• MATRIX construction components are compatible with LEGO, allowing seamless integration, and enabling you to expand your designs using LEGO parts.
