Position Overview:

WRO is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Game Development Coordinator to join our international team. This full-time position plays a central role in designing, refining, and coordinating the robotics game concepts used in WRO’s international competitions.

The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of educational robotics, hands-on experience with robotics competitions, and the ability to translate stakeholder input and strategic objectives into clear, engaging competition concepts. As this is a fully remote position, we are looking for a self-driven professional who thrives in an independent work environment and is comfortable collaborating across time zones and cultures.

Experience with WRO is a strong advantage. Experience with other community-based robotics competitions is also relevant.

WRO is looking to hire for this role as soon as possible. So please send your application to Markus Fleige, Head of Projects & IT, mf@wro-association.org – including motivational letter and CV at your earliest opportunity.

Along with your motivational letter and CV, please include a one-page document outlining your perspective on how WRO’s game concepts should evolve in the coming years. We will select candidates for interviews from 2nd week of January 2026.
